"Saving Lives One Story at a Time!"
Subrina once gave a speech on the steps of the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul in front
over 22,000 people. She represented twelve educational groups including the Minnesota
State Boards of Education of which she was a member. In her speech, one of the things
she asked for was an increase in school funding, 5% the first school year, and 5% the
second. After she concluded her speech the crowd started chanting, "Rudy's gotta go,
Rudy's gotta go, meaning then Governor Rudy Perpich. Later that year, the schools got
most of the funding Subrina had requested and Governor Perpich was not re-elected.
Subrina is owner and producer of A Gift of Memories Production. A Gift of Memories
Production helps individuals preserve their life stories on VHS tapes or DVDs, and creates
photo montages for family and class reunions.
